Wang Qing Shuang, Soprano
Celebrated youth soprano Wang Qing Shuang graduated from People's Liberation Army Academy of Art and obtained her master's degree from China Conservatory of Music where her mentor was Professor Ma Qiu Hua.
Wang swept the top prize for all of the three major voice competitions in China, namely : 15th National Youth Singer Television Awarcl, 6th Golden Bell Award and the 8th Wen hua Award. Other accolades include the Outstanding performance Award at both the first and second China Opera Festival.
Wang has displayed great talent in musical theatre productions, playing the role of the female lead in works such as the musical Earthen Homes. Gui Hua in Sweet Osmanthus in August, Han Ying in Red Guards on Honghu Lake, E Huang in The GreatYu, Lin Mei in The Sorrowful Dawn, Nv Xu in Ode to Qu Yuan and Wu Qiong Hua in The Red Detachment of Women.
She has also recorded many theme songs for television series produced by China Central Television (CNTV), such as The Swordsman, The Peach Blossom Fan and Ji Hongchang. Year after year, Wang has been invited to perform at CCTV NewYear Gala. Her signature works include Song of Eternal
